Joy and rest often come from the simplest practices. My husband Jeff —a New York Times bestselling author who also writes about skincare and pampering—has turned our home into a haven for self-care. He’s always introducing me to new skincare products or recommending the latest spa or self-care ritual, and let me tell you, the small act of focusing on myself has been transformative. Recently, I’ve added a weighted blanket to the mix—it’s perfect for an afternoon nap during these cold Philadelphia days.

Slowing down, taking care of myself, and prioritizing rest are non-negotiable parts of my joy plan. What about you? What does rest and pampering look like in your life? Have you discovered free or low-cost ways to recharge? Let’s share ideas and keep spreading the joy!
